The Art and Architecture of Abbasids

The Separation of Islamic Empire from Abbasids reign and the transformation of the monarchy from Damascus towards eastern parts to a newly established city Baghdad near Tisfun, home of the palaces of the Persian kings, weakened the influence of Arabic elements compared to Persian elements. As a result in this period, Persian elements in Islamic art became more significant. The link between Islamic culture and Greek culture which was once (at the beginning of the Islamic conquest(quite strong, grow weaker and with the help of the Persians, who existed in the Abbasids court and had came to the power, a new union was confined with the old Sassanid techniques, which was still.

As soon as it became obvious that Persians are becoming more powerful in the monarchy even in political matters, the rulers decided to stop this. Therefore they recruited more Turkish soldiers and gave more advantages to Turkish than Persian states. This weakened the superiority of the Arabic elements more than before. On the other hand, Persians gained victory along with national support and their separation from authority took place with the help of dominant individuals.
